August 29th, 2019 has been designated as E-Learning Day for Clemson University, but what does this mean? Basically, all classes will be held online on that Thursday. Many of you may be asking how you are supposed to host an online class. Don’t worry, your friends at Clemson Online are here to help you!
Online learning means that your educational platform is based on and accessible from the internet. The easiest way to achieve this is through a learning management system, and Clemson uses one of the best–Canvas.
Each course section provisioned in iRoar has a matching Canvas course where you can house course documents, embed videos, host discussion posts, distribute and grade quizzes, and much more!
To get started, we recommend taking a look at the Clemson Online developed Teaching Class in a Planned or Unplanned Event document [https://clemson.app.box.com/file/436080463960]. We also encourage you to plan to attend our E-Learning Blitz training held August 20th through 22nd in the the Brown Room at Cooper Library.
