On August 23rd, Learning Technology Manager David Bassett facilitated a Quick Hits session dedicated to better understanding the basics of Canvas’s New Quizzes program. The training dives deeper into the features and specifics of the New Quiz engine, focusing on standard settings and adjustments instructors can use to better tailor their quizzes to their needs.

Canvas’s New Quiz feature offers a streamlined and versatile way for instructors to create assessments with a new, wider range of question types. In this follow-up session, Bassett demonstrates some additional program functions, including new item banks, stimulus questions, and New Quiz reports. Additional demonstrations detailing how to work inside of a New Quiz and how to print a New Quiz are included.

Overall, this session provides audiences with important information regarding the Canvas New Quizzes engine and succinctly teaches its viewers how to better engage with the program.
