Keynote Speaker: Ambassador Kristie Kenney: Ambassador Kristie Kenney, a Clemson alumna who holds the State Department’s highest rank of Career Ambassador, will share her keynote address “Leadership and Making an Impact” Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in the Watt Auditorium. Clemson students, faculty, staff and the general public are invited to hear her address and attend a networking reception immediately following.
TIGERS ADVANCE Distinguished Speaker Series: Ann Reid, from the National Center for Science Education (NCSE), will speak on the importance of science literacy in public education Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Watt Auditorium. Her visit is co-hosted by Clemson’s College of Education and the Department of Biological Sciences in the College of Science.
CI Coffee & Donut Drop-In: Clemson’s premiere undergraduate research program, Creative Inquiry, is hosting a drop-in Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. on the Rooftop Terrace (accessible through the fourth floor) of the Watt Center. Students will have the opportunity to meet staff, ask questions, share CI experiences and enter to win prizes.
Hispanic & Latinx Voices in Academia 2018 Conference: Sponsored by the President’s Commission on Latino Affairs, this one-day conference Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Watt Center will promote the success and leadership of Hispanic and Latinx scholars in higher education. On-site registration will be available Saturday morning.

…the Watt Center is home to the Immersive Space? Students, faculty and researchers can use the space to develop virtual and augmented reality applications for a variety of VR products available on the market. They provide the headsets, software, expertise and environment to promote success.
