Dr. Mary Katherine Watson was recognized as an Outstanding Young Alumni by the College of Engineering, Computing, and Applied Sciences at a ceremony held on May 6, 2022. The award goes to graduates of the college who are 40 years old or younger and whose achievements have been significant to their profession or to the welfare of society. Dr. Watson earned her BS and MS degrees in Biosystems Engineering and went on to earn a PhD from Georgia Tech. She is currently an Associate Professor at The Citadel. Dr. Watson is also an Adjunct Professor in EEES.
