The Pee Dee Research and Education Center is going to hold a field day on September 3.
The event will begin at 9:30 am and lunch will be served after a field tour.
The tour will cover all the research and extension activities performed in the Pee Dee, especially in row crops. Topics that will be covered include the cover crops, soil microbiology, research focused on sorghum yield, the cotton OVT trials, Insect pest management in corn, crop rotation, breeding butter bean and peas and many other agronomic subjects.
