Fall Training Opportunities

Clemson Online is offering multiple training opportunities to start out the Fall Semester. These sessions are facilitated by a Clemson Online expert, and in some cases, includes direct support from product vendors. Click here to view the calendar for session dates and topics. On Campus Opportunities

Canvas Learning Management System: Clemson Online will be offering introductory and visual design sessions. Introductory sessions will be offered Friday, August 24th at 2pm and Monday, August 27th at 2pm. The Visual Design session will be September 25th at 1pm. iClicker Student Response System: Clemson Online and iClicker are partnering to offer sessions for users at all levels. These sessions will be offered Monday, August 20th and Tuesday, August 21st. Check the event calendar linked above for more information.

TurnItIn Plagiarism Detection Tool: Clemson Online will be offering sessions on TurnItIn and the ability to use this through Canvas on Friday, August 24th at 4pm and Monday, August 27th at 4pm. Check the event calendar linked above for more information.

Remote Proctoring for Online Classes: Clemson Online and Remote Proctor Now are partnering to offer various sessions throughout the day on Tuesday, August 28th. These sessions will cover everything from what remote proctoring is, to utilizing this tool with Canvas. Check the event calendar linked above for more information.

Are you off campus or not around for the sessions listed above?

We still have you covered for training. Clemson Online can provide you with assistance via online courses, phone calls, or web conferencing. Reach out to us at online@clemson.edu to set up a time and method that works best for you. Our staff is around from 8:00am to Midnight ET Monday through Friday in most cases. Support is also offered over the weekend, just email ITHelp@clemson.edu for assistance. Clemson’s Computing and Information Technology department is also transitioning towards 24/7 support for Clemson users sometime in late August or early September. This support will provide a live, Clemson based support person to speak with at any hour of the day.
