ICYMI – Canvas Jumpstart Series

What better way to start out the new year than with a Canvas refresh! Last week Clemson Online hosted a three-part Canvas Jumpstart Series to guide you on getting your Canvas course started or updated for all of your teaching needs. You can find the links to the three separate session recordings below.

Day One

The first day of the Canvas Jumpstart Series covered the basics for your syllabus and your course calendar. It includes Canvas essentials that you absolutely need to include or keep in mind as you organize your course. This session details key information for Canvas orientation, creating and organizing your grade book, and accessibility and importing content.

Day Two

The second day of the Jumpstart series focused on how to organize your course for effective pedagogy. This session covered creating a welcoming home page, creating a “start here” module, organizing using modules, and designing distinct Canvas pages.

Day Three

The last day of the Canvas Jumpstart series covered the most common tools that are integrated into your courses at Clemson. Some of these tools include Zoom, Turnitin,  Lockdown Browser, and Kaltura.

Be sure to check out these three recordings to better your Canvas course for your students.
