What Do Students Really Think about Learning in a Pandemic?

February 1, 2021

Join us for a thought-provoking First Friday!

On February 5 at 8:15 am, Clemson Online will host First Friday Coffee & Conversations (FFCC) at the FFCC Zoom link. For this first conversation of Spring ’21, we’re gathering a panel of undergraduate and graduate students to talk about their perceptions of the previous semester and their view of what’s happening right now.

The panel will provide their unique perspectives about the challenges of attending college and learning during the COVID pandemic. This will be an important conversation for any faculty looking to understand the student point of view about teaching online, teaching effectiveness, what works in the online or blended classroom, and – crucially – what doesn’t. Planned topics include:

  • Attending hybrid/blended classes
  • Managing expectations for both students and instructors
  • Personal experiences in the online classroom
  • And much more!

So come ready to listen and ask questions during this sure to be lively panel discussion.
