Check out some of the topics from our upcoming Summer ’24 Online Instructional Development Calendar! Our summer sessions will cover in-depth Kaltura training, developing social and cognitive student presence in the online classroom, interactive brainstorming tools, and training sessions on our most popular Canvas tools.

Upcoming Summer Topics

Kaltura Trainings – May 10

Join Gray Jackson, our Sr. Learning Tech Specialist, and James Butler, Digital Learning Strategist, for Kaltura training sessions this May. Kaltura is the video storage solution at Clemson, and in addition to storing your videos and embedding them into your Canvas courses, Kaltura can be used to generate captions, create video quizzes, and more! These training sessions will cover Kaltura basics, Kaltura quizzes, Kaltura editing, and Kaltura best practices. Register for the session that fits your interest, or drop by during our Kaltura drop-in hours!

Presentations and Workshops 

Our summer ’24 presentations and workshops are designed to cover a wide variety of topics! Led by members of our online development team, these 30-60 minute sessions will provide you with practical suggestions and best practices for teaching online.

Quick Hits 

Our Quick Hits sessions demonstrate and explain how to use helpful tools in your online classroom! Led by one of our Learning Technology Specialists, these 30-minute sessions are designed to answer your questions about teaching tools and tech.

Wednesday, March 27th, 1:30-2:30 PM

A flipped classroom design has learners engage with the course content before the scheduled class time. Tune into this training to discover how Canvas can help you utilize a flipped classroom design!

Join this training to learn more about creating your own interactive video in Kaltura! Whether you have a specific question or want Kaltura interactive videos demonstrated, this training opportunity is your time to work with one of our Kaltura admins. When registering, choose whether to have a specific topic covered, enter your question, or both.
