Kaltura Trainings on May 10

Join Clemson Online for Kaltura training sessions on May 10. Kaltura is Clemson’s video storage solution and can also be used to screen record, create instructor and student videos, build video quizzes, edit video captions, and more!

Check out the descriptions for our Kaltura trainings and register for the session(s) that best fit your needs! You can also swing by our Kaltura drop-in hours on Zoom for one-on-one help with a member of our staff (no registration required).

Kaltura Basics I: 10:00-10:30 AM

Join this training to learn more about Kaltura, Clemson’s video storage solution. This training will cover accessing Kaltura, uploading videos into Kaltura, and embedding Kaltura videos into your Canvas courses. When registering, feel free to include any Kaltura-related questions you have.

Registration: Kaltura Basics I.

Kaltura Basics II: 11:00-11:30 AM

This training will cover using Kaltura Capture and basic editing for videos in Kaltura, including adding chapters, hotspots, and captions. When registering, feel free to include any Kaltura-related questions you have.

Kaltura Advanced I: 1:00-1:30 PM

Join this training to learn more about how to create a video quiz in Kaltura, how to add a video quiz as a Canvas assignment and view quiz results. This training will also cover how to instruct students on using Kaltura to submit their own video assignments. When registering, feel free to include any Kaltura-related questions you have.

Join this training to learn more about utilizing Canvas in your course! Whether you have a specific question or want a Canvas tool demonstrated, this training opportunity is your time to work with one of our Learning Technology Specialists. When registering, choose whether to have a specific topic covered, enter your question, or both.

Workshop Wednesday: Next Semester Prep

Wednesday, April 24th, 1:30-2:00

Join us in preparing for teaching online with Canvas next semester! This training will cover importing Canvas content and planning next semester’s courses with learning objectives in mind. When you register for this workshop, you may select from a range of additional topics you would like covered and/or enter any specific questions.
