Eliza Gallagher and her research group were well represented at the South Carolina Educators for the Practical Use of Research Conference in Columbia on March 1. SC:SUPPORTED research interns Joseph Murphy (Sociology ’18) Julia Brisbane (BIOE senior), and Abigail Hines (IE senior) assisted by ESED PhD student, Khushi Patel, presented their research results from the project.
Dr. Gallagher along with Drs. Christy Brown and Kris Frady lead a group of South Carolina educators in a workshop discussion of high school 
institutional factors as predictors of initial college math course placement at 
SCEPUR.
