Jeff Plumblee Headed to the Citadel

July 25, 2017

Beginning this fall, Dr. Jeff Plumblee will be inspiring a new crop of students as an assistant professor in the Engineering Leadership and Project Management Department at the Citadel in Charleston, SC.  Jeff has served as a member of the Engineering & Science Education faculty as a research assistant professor in 2016-17.  He held a joint appointment with his main appointment in Civil Engineering and also served as the director of the CECAS Grand Challenge Scholars program.  Jeff is also the founder in 2009 of Clemson Engineers for Developing Countries (CEDC), which will be one of his lasting legacies to Clemson.  The nationally recognized CEDC has grown to include students from across the university and contributed to better living conditions in Haiti and elsewhere.  Jeff’s research and teaching interests are in service-learning.
