mskennedyCongratulations to Dr. Marian (Molly) Kennedy on her selection for the Murray Stokely Award for Excellence in Teaching.  This award is presented annually to a faculty member in the College of Engineering, Computing, and Applied Sciences who has demonstrated excellence in teaching engineering at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.  Teaching not only includes classroom and laboratory instruction but also guidance in research or project activities, student advising, and development/introduction of new methods, courses, or materials such as books or software.  Nominations are made by engineering faculty, students, and alumni.  Dr. Kennedy holds joint appointments in Engineering and Science Education as well as the School of Material Sciences and Engineering.  An awards dinner held on May 10 recognized her and six other outstanding faculty members for their outstanding contributions to Clemson University.
