Congratulations to Denise R. Simmons on being awarded a Distinguished Alumni Award from the Department of Civil Engineering. Denise earned a PhD in Civil Engineering and in Engineering and Science Education. She has received numerous awards and grants to encourage her leadership and research in aspects of the U.S. construction workforce. Denise continues to share her accomplishments and experiences to inspire students, teachers, and industry.
