ESED PhD Candidate Staci Johnson to Present a Seminar at Purdue

November 14, 2019

As part of the Seminar Exchange Program between the Engineering Education Departments of Virginia Tech and Purdue and the Engineering and Science Department of Clemson, ESED PhD Candidate Staci Johnson traveled to West Lafayette, IN.  Staci presented a seminar entitled Undergraduate Student Definitions of Learning, Memorizing, Studying and Understanding on Thursday, November 14. You can find Staci’s seminar announcement at this link Engineering Education Research Seminar Flyer-Johnson Staci

The Seminar Exchange Program began in the fall of 2018 and gives students from the three institutions an opportunity to present their research to students and faculty with similar interests.  It is an excellent opportunity for selected students as well as the audiences in attendance.  In the past year, Catherine McGough (PhD 2019) and Dennis Lee (PhD candidate) have represented Clemson at Purdue and Virginia Tech.
