York County Rural Health Agent to Offer Diabetes Self-management and Support Class

York County Rural Health Agent, Hannah Shifflette, will be offering a diabetes self-management and support class, Health Extension for Diabetes, in York County starting in mid-February. This free 16-week program comprises 8 education and support sessions and covers topics such as nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and more concerning diabetes. The upcoming February class will be held in person. However, an online version of the class is also expected to be held in the spring.
