Bamberg County Clemson Extension
Wild at Webb 4-H Camp celebrated its 20th anniversary during the week of June 9–13. This weeklong shooting sports camp, held at the SCDNR Webb Wildlife Center in Garnett, SC, began in 2006 and has taken place every summer since. During the COVID-19 pandemic, a virtual version of the camp was offered, followed by a hybrid format the following year, at a time when many other programs were still on hold.
Eight youth from Bamberg attended camp this summer: Alli Polk and Maurice Washington served as counselors, Paige Ulmer and Seth Baldwin served as Counselors in Training (CITs), and campers were Hampton Jowers, Walker Ness, Jules Hurst, and Rob Hurst.

In the shooting sports competition, Rob Hurst won HOA (Highest Overall in combined shotgun, rifle, and archery), Jules Hurst won first place in shotgun, and Hampton Jowers placed third in archery and rifle.
