Beaufort County 4-H is excited to announce the receipt of a generous grant from the Coastal Community Foundation. This funding will play a vital role in expanding and strengthening 4-H programming throughout Beaufort County, creating more opportunities for youth to learn, lead, and thrive.
The grant will directly support the growth of Beaufort Junior Leadership, helping young people build essential leadership, communication, and civic engagement skills. In addition, the funding will enhance school enrichment programs, allowing 4-H to reach more classrooms with hands-on learning experiences that support the school standards and positive youth development. Camps, clubs, and other 4-H programmatic efforts will also benefit from this investment. From STEM and agriculture to life skills and community service, these programs provide safe, structured environments where youth can explore interests, develop confidence, and connect with caring adult mentors.
Beaufort County 4-H is grateful for the Coastal Community Foundation’s commitment to supporting youth and strengthening communities. This partnership will help ensure that more young people across the county have access to meaningful, high-quality educational experiences that prepare them for future success.
