Amelia Howell from Beaufort County serves as the South Carolina State Teen. Council Public Relations Coordinator. In her role, she manages online communication sites and other media.
The SC 4-H Teen Council further enhances teen leaders’ leadership, citizenship, and communication skills. The council aims to serve as the leadership team that plans organizes and implements statewide teen initiatives and events. Amelia is actively planning a 4-H Day at the South Carolina State Fair, Legislative Day, the 2025 SC 4-H Junior Weekend, and the 2025 SC 4-H State Congress.
She was elected to the 2024 South Carolina State 4-H Congress. Amelia has been in Beaufort County 4-H since she was in the fourth grade. She started in the homeschool program and then graduated from the 2023 Beaufort Junior Leadership class. Her primary 4-H projects are leadership and civic engagement.
