From the first fair in 1957 to today, the goals of the Coastal Carolina Fair have remained the same: to raise money for local charities, scholarships, and various community needs and to provide the best family-oriented entertainment for the Lowcountry. This mission has long included support for SC 4-H.
The Coastal Carolina Fair awarded $400 to 4-H contest and exhibit winners this year. Youth and clubs participated in numerous activities that highlighted their program of choice. From baking to STEM challenges, there was something that appealed to everyone. This year, 150 entries were submitted for fair participation. This number is one of the highest in recent years. Youth and volunteers worked hard to make a great showing at the fair this year. Winners this year by category included:
