Laura Hair, Orangeburg & Calhoun County

4-H Youth Development Agent

Laura grew up in Orangeburg and Calhoun Counties. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education (2009) and a Master of Education in Teaching (2017) from the University of South Carolina. Even though she has degrees from USC, she bleeds orange! Go Tigers!
She taught 4-year-old kindergarten for eight years and 2nd grade for five years in Orangeburg County public schools. As an elementary student, Laura was introduced to the 4-H program and developed a passion for the opportunities that empowered her to gain skills that would last a lifetime.
Laura lives in St. Matthews with her husband and two children. She enjoys working with the Orangeburg County Fair and other fairs across the state. Laura is looking forward to touching the lives of more children and families in Orangeburg and Calhoun counties as she guides them in creating opportunities and leadership roles through 4-H.
