Venus M. Clayton, the Beaufort County Administrative Assistant, has been with Clemson for 22 years. She started her career in Colleton County and transferred in 2010 to Beaufort County. She graduated from Walterboro High School, received her Associate Degree in Business from Technical College of the Lowcountry and Bachelor Degree in Business Administration in Management from Limestone College, Gaffney, South Carolina. Administrative Duties and assisting agents with and all electronics.
In Venus’ role at Clemson Extension, she meets with and talks to clients in and out of the office. Her areas of expertise are Administrative Duties and assisting agents with all electronics. Her favorite part about working with Extension is working with and meeting people from all walks of life.
Venus’ most memorable experience is speaking with a client who felt a plane was dropping rocks onto her yard and the stones were from space.
