Favorite spot on campus: Core! I love walking into the dining hall alone and then ending up staying for hours talking to the friends that I find. Most of my closest friendships have been formed over Core chicken sandwiches.
Favorite question on a tour: “Does Clemson ever feel too big?” No! Even coming as an out of state student without knowing people beforehand, I have found that the Clemson family is so strong. I have gotten to know so many wonderful people, and I really can’t walk across campus without running into someone I know.
Clubs and Organizations you are involved in on campus: Clemson FCA, Campus Outreach, Student Government, Orientation Ambassador
Hobbies: Dike Walking, Hiking, Meeting People, Deer Hunting
Advice for jumping into college life: Introduce yourself to someone randomly! It may sound weird, but I promise that a beautiful friendship may follow. People are open because they want to build community just as much as you do!
Advice on how to choose a college: Think about what kind of person you want to become, not just what type of professional you want to become. You will grow exponentially in college, so keep that direction of growth in mind.
Fun fact about yourself: My friend Sarah once told me that orange is my color, and it is my favorite compliment to date.
