Favorite question on a tour: “What stood out to you about Clemson” – On my visits to Clemson, I noticed how important the concept of “The Clemson Family” was shown all over campus.  Students had smiles on their faces and were constantly saying “hi” to each other. My tour guide emphasized the importance of our Alumni support and how influential those connections have been to students post-graduation. I saw how much school pride there was in the student’s majors, athletics and all of the support geared towards student success. Clemson is a very special place and there truly is “Something in these Hills.”

Advice for jumping into college life: Take in every moment.  College is a very special time in life that helps you define who you want to be. Do things you are passionate about and get to know as many people as possible. Say yes to as much as possible and live a balanced life between your academics and your social life. Embrace the highs and the lows and grow from it all.  Finally, walk around campus with no music, listen and take everything in, take time to appreciate the small things.

Advice on how to choose a college: Find a college that truly feels like home.  A place where you are excited to get up everyday and go to class, cheer on at a sporting event, and have a passion to give back to.  A place where you feel comfortable being yourself but are constantly pushed to grow and are supported by people that cheer you on to success.

Fun fact about yourself: I have gone paragliding across the border between Switzerland and France.
