Favorite question on a tour: What kind of things do you like to do at Clemson? I really enjoy going to different sporting events- Clemson Football games are the some of the most fun experiences I’ve had in my life. Also on most Friday nights, there is either a soccer game, volleyball match, basketball game, or baseball game depending on the time of year. I also like the events that I go to in the organizations that I’m involved in, as well as just hanging out at friends’ apartments and residence halls.

Clubs and Organizations you are involved in on campus: Clemson University Guide Association, College of Business Recruitment Ambassadors (COBRA), Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity

Hobbies: sports- both playing and watching (especially Clemson!)

Advice for jumping into college life: Try to meet as many people as possible. Freshman year is a new experience for everyone, so just starting a conversation with someone in your class or on your hall or somewhere else isn’t weird! It’s so much more fun to walk across campus and see people you know and to have your own little community. Also- get involved! Whether it’s a club or a greek organization or student government, that’s the easiest way to meet a lot a new people fast.

Advice on how to choose a college: Start off by narrowing it down by big categories that are important, then try to tour the ones that fit into those categories if you can. These categories would be things like distance from home, cost of tuition, size of the university, and level of academic quality. If you can’t tour, explore on the college’s website about things you think will impact your college experience. Some things might be different types of residence halls, size of campus, whether the campus is in the city or a college town, Greek life, and other cool things that you might have access to by going to that school. With all the information you get from tours and websites, you can decide what you do and don’t like about each school.

Fun fact about yourself: I absolutely love the Hunger Games movies!
